AI-Powered Stock Selections,
Tracked Publicly

Our AI scans 900+ large and mid-cap US stocks and the most-traded cryptos across three strategies to surface the top ranked selections. We publish them on YouTube, track every single one, and never hide a loss.

What Is Top 5 Stocks?

Top 5 Stocks is a fully automated, AI-driven market research service. Our system analyzes market data every day, selects the top-ranked stocks and cryptos, generates a narrated video, and publishes it.

We're not a brokerage, not a hedge fund, and we don't manage anyone's money. We publish selections and educational research. What you do with the information is up to you.

Where We Publish

Our AI publishes across multiple channels daily:

YouTube (Stocks) — @Top5StocksDaily

Three Strategies, Three Pipelines

We run three separate AI pipelines: short-term momentum, long-term value, and a monthly generational screen for durable compounders.

Top 5 Daily — Momentum

Published every market day. 5 stocks scored on short-term signals. Each entry is tracked until the upside or downside reference level is reached. Entries are short-term and typically reach a model exit within a month.

Price momentum & volume surge
Catalyst & news sentiment
Chart structure & breakout signals
EPS revisions & analyst upgrades
Options flow & VWAP positioning
Macro regime & risk context

Undervalued — Long-Term Value

Published monthly for paid subscribers. Screens 900 large and mid-cap US stocks (S&P 500 + S&P 400) for quality companies trading below estimated fair value. Tracked for up to 1 year.

DCF intrinsic value & margin of safety
Free cash flow yield & earnings quality
Insider buying clusters
Analyst consensus upside
Value trap detection
Revenue & EPS growth estimates

Generational — Durable Compounders

At most 2 selections per month, for the Ultra tier. Candidates are observed across a full month of scans and must qualify on the majority of them before selection — one strong day is never enough. Selections are tracked indefinitely with no exit levels; months where no company meets the bar are recorded and published.

Multi-year revenue compounding
Return-on-capital consistency
Gross-margin moat & pricing power
Balance-sheet strength
Market outperformance required
Valuation sanity cap

Rankings are locked at publish time and cannot be edited retroactively.

How Videos Are Made

How the pipeline works:

1

Scan & Score — Market data is pulled from multiple APIs. Every stock is scored and ranked.

2

Script Generation — A deterministic system builds each ranking's narrated line directly from real catalyst, news, and data facts; an LLM only writes the one-line market intro.

3

Video Render — Text-to-speech narration is synced with dynamic stock charts and data overlays.

4

Publish — The video is uploaded to YouTube, alerts are sent to Telegram, and the website is updated.

How Entries Are Tracked

When a stock is selected, the model logs an entry at the current market price and sets two reference levels: an upside level and a downside level. These levels are derived from the model's analysis — they are not trade instructions.

The model then monitors the stock. When one of these levels is reached, the model records an exit and the result (gain or loss) is logged to the performance record. No actual trades are placed — this is a simulated tracking system for transparency.

Top 5 Daily — Short-Term Momentum

An equal-weight basket of 5 stocks is selected each market day. Each entry stays active until a reference level is reached. Most entries resolve within 1–2 weeks. The model records an exit in one of three ways:

Upside Level Reached
Price reaches the upside reference level — model exit recorded as a gain.
Downside Level Reached
Price reaches the downside reference level — model exit recorded as a loss. Once an entry gains 3%+, the downside level is raised to just above the entry price, so a winner that reverses is recorded near breakeven instead of as a loss.
Time-Based Exit
Rarely used — if neither level is reached after an extended period, the model records an exit at the current price.

Undervalued — Long-Term Value

Same tracking logic with a longer horizon (up to 1 year) to let value theses develop. The model monitors the same upside and downside reference levels and records an exit when one is reached.

How We Measure Performance

We track two types of returns:

Per-Ranking Average

The simple average return across all individual closed rankings. Shows what a typical single ranking returned.

Growth Chart

A hypothetical $10,000 portfolio tracking simple additive returns. Each day's basket is bought at entry and sold — the percentage gain or loss is added to the running total. Only baskets with 2 or more fresh (non-repeat) rankings are included to avoid double-counting. This is not compound growth — each basket's return is independent.

S&P 500 Benchmark

The benchmark line shows a buy-and-hold investment in SPY starting from the same date as the first basket. This is the standard comparison used by services like Motley Fool — what would $10,000 in the S&P 500 be worth over the same period?

Per-Ranking S&P 500 Comparison

Each individual ranking is also compared against SPY over the same holding window to calculate excess return vs the market.

No Hidden Losses

Every single ranking is logged publicly — winners and losers. No rankings are removed, no prices are edited, and no bad days are hidden. The full track record is on the Performance page.

We believe real transparency is the only way to build trust. If the AI gets it wrong, you'll see it.

Who's Behind This

Top 5 Stocks is independently built and operated — one developer, one automated research system, no outside sponsors and no one paying us to feature their stock. The scoring models are backtested across multiple market regimes before any weight changes ship, and every published ranking is logged to the public record the moment it goes out.

We publish under the same handle everywhere — @Top5StocksDaily on YouTube and this site — and the full unedited track record is always one click away. Questions or corrections: top5stocksdaily@gmail.com.
